A fake medical doctor, Bernard Nyarko, and his fiancee, Priscilla Asante, have been arrested by the police

A fake medical practitioner, Bernard Nyarko, and his girlfriend, Priscilla Asante, are in the grips of the police for stealing a car with registration number GW 1638-19.
Mynewsgh reports that they robbed one Courage Normeshie Quarshigah of his Daewoo Matiz car at Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
Police officials revealed that the suspects were picked up at Konongo in the Ashanti region after information had been circulated to the effect that they were in possession of a stolen car.
According to the facts of the case, the police had earlier received information that the said vehicle had been stolen from Koforidua and was heading towards Kumasi.
They therefore called on all checkpoints to be on the lookout, and soon after the information had been relayed, the suspects were spotted at Konongo and arrested by the police.

YEN.com.gh understands that Quarshigah reported he was the driver of the vehicle, and that Nyarko introduced himself as medical officer.
Nyarko then hired him from Adenta in Accra to Koforidua and succeeded in stealing the vehicle from him at Koforidua.
The police retrieved a stethoscope as well as a doctor’s white overcoat and some car documents when they search the vehicle.
The suspects are currently in custody, pending the outcome of further investigations into the incident.
