Nicki Minaj attacks the clones. After premiering the double dose of “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li,” the Young Money queen unleashes the preview for the latter’s video.
An outfit change follows. Soon, she dresses up like an animated doll with dramatic makeup. She makes robotic action-figure motions with a blonde wig, fluorescent wardrobe, and all. Meanwhile, an imitator copies her moves by her side.
This copycat theme, which also appears on the new single, continues in the short clip. In fact, the video ends with men and women throwing Nicki Minaj’s cartoon portrait over their faces.
“Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li” are expected to appear on Nicki Minaj’s long-awaited next album, the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint. During her Beats 1 premiere interview, she also announced that a documentary and global arena tour will follow.
